LeafLocks is a fully botanical system. When mixed with warm water, the plants release natural dye molecules that bind gently to the hair shaft.

Pouch 1 — Herbal Infusion (Base Layer)

This step activates and deposits the warm botanical base.

  1. Mix Pouch 1 with 100 ml warm water to a yogurt-like consistency (add a little more water if needed).

  2. Cover and let sit for 3 hours or more ( In the fridge this can stay for two weeks)

  3. Apply generously to hair.

  4. Cover with cling wrap or a shower cap.

  5. Leave on 1.5–2 hours.

  6. Rinse thoroughly (do not shampoo).

  7. Towel-dry until slightly damp.

Pouch 2 — Plant Pigment (Final Color Layer)

This step deepens the tone into soft black.

  1. Mix Pouch 2 with regular water (yogurt-like consistency).

  2. Use immediately — do not let it sit. When mixed this has to be used right away.

  3. Apply to towel-dried hair, roots to ends.

  4. Process 1.5–2 hours.

  5. Rinse until water runs clear.

  6. Condition generously.

  7. Avoid shampoo for 24–48 hours for the deepest, longest-lasting color.
