Will it cover stubborn greys?
Yes — It should. If using for the first time, sometimes it only cover 90% of the stubborn greys. LeafLocks botanical blend with henna + indigo wraps the hair shaft to blend greys into a soft, natural-looking shade that deepens with each application. To help with this process, keep the Botanical Blend mixed for over 24 hours and then mix Pouch 2 right before application. That will help get the perfect color.
Is it safe for sensitive scalps?
LeafLocks is 100% botanical and all-natural — no ammonia, no PPD, no synthetic dyes. Many people with sensitive scalps find botanicals gentler than chemical dyes, but always patch-test before your first full application.
Can I re-use left over mixture?
No! If you have mixed the Pouch 2 (Pigment booster), then you must use it within 15-20 minutes and throw away the rest. If you have only mixed Pouch 1, then that can be kept in the fridge for over 2 weeks.
How long does the color take to develop?
Botanicals deepen gradually. Your roots will look blended immediately, and the color continues to richen over 24–48 hours as the natural pigments oxidize.
